The Ras Al Khaimah casino is planned within the Wynn Al Marjan Island resort on Al Marjan Island. As of 10 August 2026, the project was still being built and had not opened to visitors. Wynn's newest published schedule places the guest opening in September 2027.
The snapshot below labels each figure with its reporting date or source. It separates work already recorded from targets that remain in the future. Wynn may revise the opening schedule or operating information, so confirm the latest reference before making arrangements.
| Item | Confirmed status | Reference date |
|---|---|---|
| Resort status | Under construction and not open for visits | 10 August 2026 |
| Opening date | September 2027 | Wynn results, 4 August 2026 |
| Licence | Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan, is listed by GCGRA | Current GCGRA register |
| Tower | 70 floors, with a final planned height of 352 metres above sea level | Current resort website |
| Accommodation inventory | All 1,530 units structurally complete | 2 February 2026 |
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqm | Wynn 2025 annual filing, March 2026 |
Construction status does not give the public access to the hotel, restaurants or gaming floor. Wynn's email updates can register an interest, but submitting the form neither reserves a room nor provides an entry pass.
Wynn describes Al Marjan Island as its first integrated resort in the Middle East and North Africa; the developers also call it the UAE's first project of this type. The announced programme brings together lodging, licensed gaming, food and drink, shows, shops, a spa, waterfront facilities and a venue for events.
The site spans more than 60 hectares on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, facing the Arabian Gulf. Wynn Resorts, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding-linked entities are involved in the joint development. The name recorded as the gaming licensee is Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC.
The project extends beyond a casino floor attached to a hotel. Information released so far focuses on guest rooms, dining, the beach, performances and events. Wynn has yet to publish a detailed list of games or explain the facility's full gaming mix.
Wynn's second-quarter results, released on 4 August 2026, give September 2027 as the month the resort is expected to welcome guests. This is more specific than older pages that mention 2027, its first quarter or spring.
Earlier investor material pointed to the first quarter of 2027. In May 2026 Wynn acknowledged a modest delay and said it would provide more detail later. Its August update then named September 2027 as the current target.
A company filing is a more direct source than a hotel listing or travel article, but the schedule is still a projection while work continues. Before buying a non-refundable trip, consult the official resort website and the latest Wynn investor notices.
Read these updates in date order to distinguish earlier schedules from the current one. Together they trace the Ras Al Khaimah casino from a proposed development to a licensed facility under construction, with a named month for welcoming guests.
| Date | Milestone | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 25 January 2022 | Joint project announced for Al Marjan Island | The concept began with preliminary scope and timing |
| 4 October 2024 | Wynn announced receipt of the commercial gaming facility operator licence | The project became the UAE's first licensed commercial gaming facility |
| 25 November 2025 | A site ceremony marked the 70-floor hotel tower reaching its top | The main tower hit a visible construction milestone |
| December 2025 | Wynn's later updates recorded structural concrete completion | Work shifted further into the crown, facade and interior phases |
| 2 February 2026 | Facade reached 83%, all accommodation units were structurally complete and Wynn Bridge reached 48% | This remains the latest detailed construction percentage release |
| 11 March 2026 | Construction resumed after a short pause | This was a status update, not an opening or cancellation notice |
| 29 June 2026 | Wynn announced an original theatre production with Punchdrunk | The opening entertainment programme gained a confirmed headline show |
| 15 July 2026 | Wynn's investor presentation showed extensive interior work in progress | The latest visual snapshot confirmed the fit-out phase was active |
| 4 August 2026 | September 2027 was named for opening the doors | This is the current official date to use for planning |
Wynn's project story places the ceremony for the 70-floor tower on 25 November 2025. Later corporate reporting dates the structural-concrete milestone to December 2025. The table preserves November for the ceremony and December for the subsequent construction update, reflecting what each source actually records.
In its 2 February 2026 update, Wynn said concrete work had reached the roof of level 71. It also reported 21,852 installed facade panels out of 26,471, or 83%. The guest-facing website calls the building a 70-floor tower; both descriptions are retained as stated rather than reconciled into a new floor count. Interim height numbers have varied, while the published final target remains 352 metres above sea level once the spire is fitted.
Work continued on lifts, escalators, mechanical and electrical systems and interior finishes across the accommodation. Concrete and structural steel for the low-rise buildings were reported as 99% complete. That figure describes construction progress and does not mean the areas are ready to receive guests.
Wynn Bridge is a planned 548-metre link from the resort along Wynn Boulevard to roads E311 and E611. Wynn reported 48% completion on 2 February 2026, with piling done and nine of its ten bridge-column pile caps installed. At that point, the stated completion target was late 2026.
Wynn's August results described construction as progressing quickly, and a second-quarter presentation depicted substantial interior work as of 15 July 2026. Neither source gave a more recent percentage for the facade or bridge. February's numbers therefore remain dated measurements rather than estimates adjusted without evidence.
Wynn's 2025 annual report, submitted in March 2026, gives the gaming area as 225,000 sq ft. This is approximately 20,900 sqm. We use that measurement because it comes from the company's most recent direct filing on the area.
Older news and project pages often give an approximate gaming floor of 18,500 sqm, and that number still appears in search results. Wynn has not explained whether the two measurements cover different spaces. We therefore retain 18,500 sqm as a previous estimate and do not combine it with the filing figure.
| Measure | Figure used | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqm | Latest figure in Wynn's annual filing |
| Older figure still repeated online | About 18,500 sqm | Legacy estimate, not the current lead figure |
| Development site | More than 60 hectares | The whole integrated resort, not only the gaming floor |
| Hotel tower | 70 floors | Current guest-facing description |
| Structure in the February update | 299 metres through the level 71 roof | A dated construction measurement, not final height |
| Planned height with spire | 352 metres above sea level | Final architectural target on the resort website |
The published area says nothing about table or machine counts, specific games, or how public and private rooms are divided. Wynn had not released those details by 10 August 2026. A precise inventory should wait for a newer statement from the operator.
Wynn reported in February that the structure of all 1,530 accommodation units was complete, although interior finishing work continued. The categories below are all part of that total, including apartments, townhomes and estates, and should not be added again as extras.
| Category | Number | Published description |
|---|---|---|
| Resort rooms | 1,217 | Rooms and suites in the main Resort Tower |
| Enclave suites | 297 | A hotel within a hotel on the upper floors |
| Royal Apartments | 2 | Two apartments at the top of the tower |
| Garden Townhomes | 4 | Standalone garden accommodation in the resort plan |
| Marina Estates | 10 | Residences beside the marina |
| Total | 1,530 | Current announced guest inventory |
Enclave is planned as a hotel within the larger hotel, located on upper floors with a dedicated entrance, arrival area and lifts. Its focus is suite accommodation and separate service. Wynn has not yet announced prices, packages or when reservations will begin.
Some earlier Wynn material gave a total of 1,542, and other sites continue to repeat it. The February 2026 construction update and current resort information list categories that add up to 1,530. That is the current total used in this guide.
Wynn currently lists 22 planned restaurants, bars and lounges, alongside a daytime beach club for resort visitors and hotel guests. Announced concepts include a French-American steakhouse by Alain Ducasse and another Delilah supper club. Dining reservations had not opened at the time of this update.
Wynn announced on 29 June 2026 that an original production by Punchdrunk will launch with the resort. The planned experience offers a conventional seated performance upstairs or an immersive route through lower floors and backstage. Performance dates and ticket prices are not yet available.
The design includes a naturally lit shopping area intended for luxury labels, but a complete retailer list has not been released. Art is planned for shared areas and guest rooms. Announced pieces include Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips, along with historic and contemporary work by artists from the region and abroad.
Wynn's plans show a 420-metre private white-sand shoreline and a deep-water marina built for large yachts. A beach club is also on the programme. The operator has not yet stated whether day visitors can buy access or how non-guest entry will work.
The resort website describes 12 pools, cabanas and landscaped grounds, plus a five-star spa, salon and gym. Prices for treatments, pool hours and admission conditions have not been released. Until those details appear, visitors cannot build a dependable budget for these facilities.
Wynn's amenities information names a kids' club as well as outdoor activities, indicating that family facilities form part of the non-gaming offer. The accepted age range, charges and supervision policy remain unpublished. Families should check the guest rules before arranging care.
The planned Coral Court events venue covers 7,708 sqm. Its published layout includes six rooms that can be reconfigured for meetings, separate salons for brides and grooms, and private prayer spaces for women and men.
At 2,633 sqm, the column-free Grand Ballroom is designed to look out over the marina. Floor size is useful for comparing venues, but it cannot determine guest capacity: tables, a stage, walkways and production equipment all affect the final layout.
As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had not provided event packages, rates or minimum spending requirements. When enquiries open, ask for an itemised written estimate that covers capacity, staging, food, cancellation and access needs. Do not infer a guest count from floor area alone.
Al Marjan Island is in Ras Al Khaimah, rather than Dubai. Wynn estimates a drive of around 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. A 2025 financing announcement from the company put Dubai International Airport at roughly 50 minutes away by road.
| Starting point or route | Official information | Planning decision |
|---|---|---|
| Ras Al Khaimah International Airport | About 15 minutes by car on the resort website | Check the journey time on arrival day because traffic changes |
| Dubai International Airport | About 50 minutes in Wynn's 2025 release, with the resort less than 50 miles away | Add baggage and traffic time rather than treating the estimate as a guarantee |
| Wynn Bridge | Planned link through Wynn Boulevard to E311 and E611 | Late 2026 was the completion target, so confirm that the route is open |
| Resort shuttle | No operating timetable or fare published | Do not plan around a service the operator has not announced |
| Parking and valet | Final operating details not published | Check arrival instructions when reservations open |
The proposed 548-metre Wynn Bridge would give the property a more direct connection to the regional roads. The latest detailed progress report still treated it as a construction site. Wait for a completion notice or a confirmed route on a current map before relying on the crossing.
Once reservations are available, ask which entrance serves your hotel, event or marina booking. Leave time for delays, and pay for transport only when it is documented in your booking confirmation.
In the GCGRA register of licensees, Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC appears under land-based gaming facilities as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn said on 4 October 2024 that the project company had received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
The register identifies a GCGRA authorisation for this particular land-based venue and names its licensee. It lists The Game LLC separately as the UAE Lottery operator, in a different category. Wynn Al Marjan is expected to become the Gulf Cooperation Council's first licensed casino upon opening. Our UAE gambling laws guide covers the wider regulatory context.
Wynn should publish the gaming floor's final age, identification, admission, safer-gambling and complaint procedures before welcoming players. Rules from another Wynn venue do not apply here unless the company confirms them for this resort.
Plans can be updated as the opening approaches. The list below makes the gaps visible alongside confirmed facts, and helps distinguish an expression of interest, a concept image or a reseller's offer from an actual booking or operating commitment.
| Detail | Status on 10 August 2026 | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel bookings and room rates | Reservation date and prices not announced | Join official updates and wait for Wynn's booking engine |
| Restaurant reservations | Not open on Wynn's dining page | Do not pay an unverified intermediary for a table |
| Casino game list | Table, machine and title counts not published | Wait for the operator's gaming information |
| Betting limits | Minimum and maximum stakes not published | Do not substitute limits from Wynn Las Vegas |
| Age, ID and admission charges | Final Wynn conditions not published | Check Wynn and GCGRA before travelling |
| Dress code and opening hours | Not published | Review the guest guide when it appears |
| Shuttle, parking and valet | No operating timetable or pricing published | Request confirmation with the hotel booking |
| Theatre tickets | Interest registration available, schedule and prices incomplete | Do not treat registration as a ticket |
The resort site allows people to submit an email address and select topics for future updates. This does not book accommodation, dining or a theatre seat, nor does it set a price or confer priority. Those require a separate confirmation.
Use the resort site for facilities, GCGRA's register for the licence and Wynn's newest investor release for the opening schedule. When these official sources do not provide a detail, report it as pending instead of borrowing a policy from another property.
This guide is for adults aged 18 and older. Under GCGRA advertising standards, a person below 21 is classed as underage for commercial gaming outside the lottery. As of this update Wynn had not released final identification and admission requirements for the gaming area. Confirm the entry policy before travelling; a hotel booking may not grant access to every part of the resort.
For illustration only, imagine setting aside 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) for one day's entertainment. This is not a Wynn rate. Keep AED 500 for transport, meals and unexpected costs, and treat AED 300 as the maximum amount available for gaming, whether you win or lose.
Choose your spending ceiling and departure time before entering. Leave spare cards and emergency funds outside the plan. If either stopping point arrives, end the visit instead of converting contingency money into another stake or pursuing earlier losses.
Pause if play involves concealed spending, debt, anxiety or neglect of work and people close to you. Our responsible gambling guide describes signs to look out for and ways to seek help.
The responses reflect official material available on 10 August 2026. Reconfirm the schedule and access policies once bookings open, since future operating details may be revised.
No. Work was still under way on 10 August 2026. Wynn's 4 August 2026 update gave September 2027 as the planned month for opening to guests.
The latest Wynn guidance names September 2027. It was published with second-quarter results on 4 August 2026, replacing earlier first-quarter and spring 2027 targets.
The resort is being built on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, outside Dubai. Wynn estimates roughly 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
The company's latest annual filing gives 225,000 sq ft, approximately 20,900 sqm. Older project reporting used about 18,500 sqm; this guide cites the newer corporate figure.
Wynn lists 1,530 units in total: 1,217 Resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates.
Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan, is named by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). Wynn reported receiving the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence on 4 October 2024.
By 10 August 2026, Wynn had not announced when hotel reservations would begin and dining reservations were not open. Joining its mailing list does not secure a room, rate or priority.
No game inventory, slot count or minimum and maximum stakes had been published by 10 August 2026. Wait for Wynn's own gaming details and access requirements instead of applying rules from another property.
Wynn gives about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and previously estimated around 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport. Traffic affects actual journeys, and its February 2026 update still described Wynn Bridge as being built.
GCGRA advertising rules treat people under 21 as underage for commercial gaming except the lottery. As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had not published final identity and admission procedures for this gaming floor. Check the operator and regulator before travelling.
